Terms of use

1. Services

The site supports furniture requirements conversations, reference uploads, 3D/AR previews and staff-operated modeling/version tools. The parties must separately agree the scope of complete appearance design, structural/material planning, drawings, bills of materials and manual engineering. Automatic models and drawings are references requiring BjM engineering review before production; downloading STEP/DXF is not safety, machining or production approval. Unsupported or complex custom requests go to manual engineering review, without automatic generation or a points charge.

2. Accounts

Registration begins in a pending state. Only the BjM owner may personally approve or reject it; agents cannot approve. Only registered, approved accounts may use customer chat, upload, generation/estimate and download services. Pending or rejected accounts stay blocked, show no balance and cannot receive or spend points. Once approved, the original signup browser session becomes usable automatically. Sign-in on another device, signing back in after sign-out, email verification and seat administration are not connected; plan figures do not activate a service. Provide accurate email, safeguard access and take responsibility for account use. Business team seats and the shared points pool follow the Points and plans guide; plan and points rules are public. Anonymous visitors see no personal balance or reset date. The signup/verification grant interface requires server-side human verification and an active tick agreeing to the terms of use and privacy policy. The accepted terms version, privacy version, time and IP hash are recorded; grants are rejected without agreement.

3. Points and plans

Plan details, add-ons, credit deductions for generation and downloads, free credits, and top-up rules are as published on the "Credits & Plans" page of this website. Purchases are not yet available; rules shown there do not mean transactions are open.

4. Payments and refunds

There is no live payment collection, online purchase, subscription cancellation or cash refund flow. Before future purchases, top-ups or subscriptions, you must separately tick a request to start digital services immediately, an acknowledgement that you therefore lose the withdrawal or cancellation rights provided by applicable law for delivered digital content/services, and confirmation that unused top-up points are refundable within 7 days of purchase. An exception to withdrawal rights applies only where permitted by applicable law and its conditions are met; checkout consent does not exclude other mandatory consumer rights. You may request a refund of unused purchased points within 7 days of purchase; free/monthly/plan points are not refundable, subject to any refund rights required by law or arising from circumstances attributable to BjM. Email hello@bjm-furniture-design.com with the purchase record and requested refund scope; we reply within 30 days. A ledger entry does not mean the provider has refunded money. Engineering deposits, final payments and cancellation terms follow the separate written agreement. These terms do not exclude statutory rights.

5. Intellectual property

Existing rights in uploads and design ideas remain with you or their original rights holder; you must be authorized to provide them to BjM. For generated designs, models, drawings and bills of materials that BjM is entitled to license, once the relevant fees are paid and the delivery conditions in the parties’ written agreement are met, BjM grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence, sublicensable to your manufacturers, to produce and sell furniture based on the design. This is a licence, not a transfer of copyright. Free previews do not grant production rights. BjM does not guarantee that generated content has copyright protection or is registrable as a design, patent or trademark, or that it is exclusive or other customers will not receive similar results. You are responsible for applications and checking rights. Site code, interface, templates and generation methods are protected according to ownership; third-party components retain their licences. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering or bulk extraction is prohibited except where permitted by law. 6. Prohibited conduct

You warrant that you have the rights to provide uploaded files, reference materials and requirements and to authorize BjM to use them to provide the service. Their content and your requested use must not infringe third-party copyright, design, patent, trademark or other rights. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party infringement claims arising from your breach of this warranty and will indemnify BjM for reasonable resulting losses and costs. This excludes the portion attributable to BjM’s own acts or omissions and does not affect consumer statutory rights. Do not upload unlawful or malicious files; bypass verification, limits or points calculations; access others’ data; automate bulk access; impersonate others; or supply false information. BjM may restrict service under applicable law and final agreements. Automatic customer suspension/termination and non-refund penalties are not built; statutory remedies remain available.

7. Disclaimers and liability

This website and all services are currently in trial and are provided "as is" and "as available". BjM makes no express or implied warranties, including accuracy, completeness, continued availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BjM is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or services, except for damages caused by BjM's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Content is provided "as is". BjM output is design assistance, not a certified engineering approval. Automatically generated models and drawings have not been tested or certified against furniture safety standards. Before production, you or your manufacturer must identify the safety laws and standards applicable in the market of sale, complete structural, load-limit, material-emissions and other required tests, and fit anti-tip restraints to tall cabinets where needed, with installation instructions and safety labels. Engineering review and mutually confirmed drawings do not replace legally required testing, certification or manufacturer responsibilities. Subject to applicable law, the liability cap is the amount actually paid BjM in the preceding 12 months. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded; consumer statutory rights are not affected.

8. Service changes and interruption

We may change features, plans or prices with advance notice of material changes. Chat, verification, files and notifications depend on network and external services and may be interrupted; emails do not guarantee immediate replies. Changes, cancellation and termination of activated paid services follow these terms and applicable law.
